Jerry Wu—Chief Executive Officer

Jerry is a fifth-year business student, specializing in Finance and Accounting. Originally from China, he has a lot of experience within SMIF, including being a Research Analyst and a Portfolio Manager. This year, he is excited to help prepare the future leaders of SMIF and contribute to the company’s growth. Jerry enjoys watching movies, reading, and going golfing with friends in his spare time. In the future, he is planning to complete the CFA designation.

 

 

Ethan New—Chief Operations Officer

Ethan is a fourth-year student studying both Business and Political Science. Originally from Port Moody, BC, he enjoys playing hockey, watching baseball, reading about global current events, and seeing how they shape the financial markets. This year, Ethan is looking forward to developing and expanding SMIF to its fullest potential. He has a professional background in finance and accounting and is planning to attend Law School in the fall of 2024
